Like almost every other phone released nowadays, the Huawei-made Google Nexus 6P was subjected to its own bend and drop test soon after its launch. To the horror of many, the phone almost instantly snapped in half.
Since the phone was subjected to a drop test, fire test, and scratch test before that, it led many to believe that the test was rigged. So, YouTuber JerryRigEverything went ahead and got another Nexus 6P on which he repeated the bend test out of the box. The result? Pretty much the same. The phone almost instantly snapped in half and at the same point where it had snapped in the original video.

The iPhone 6 Plus also had a weak structural strength, but beside a few customers, no one ever noticed or complained about it. And that phone sold millions of units, which the Nexus 6P will never will.
In the end, these bend tests do a great job of showing how good (or bad) the structural strength of a phone is, but they should never weigh in on your decision of buying a specific phone. The Nexus 6P is the most premium and perfect Nexus smartphone ever released from Google, and if you are planning on buying one, your decision should remain unaffected even after watching this bend test video.
